What moneyback guarantees do you offer?
We will always entertain a claim for a refund or other compensation if it is shown that our service is some way at fault. But not if the customer simply changes their mind since we will already have borne irrecoverable set up costs. We have a free trial period to ensure that everyone is satisfied before parting with their subscription fee. I'm glad to say of course, that we very rarely need to go that far.
What is your average uptime?
On server reliability, if that's what you mean, we have two large servers both here in London, and also in Oklahoma run by Rackspace which are extremely reliable. I don't have facts or figures I'm afraid, but I can say, apart from planned maintenance intervals of a maximum of 30 minutes in the middle of the night UK time, which everyone will be forewarned about, you should receive constant service. In the last four years I can recall only two occasions of a few minutes each when there was a blip in the service, and very soon recovered by the systems we have in place.
What is your support response time and what does it cover?
For reasons I will come on to, we don't undertake to actually design or create your website for you. However we do provide a constant and I hope user-friendly customer support via email. We undertake to answer any email at least by the same time as it was received the next working day, and in almost all cases much sooner. So for instance, we would have endeavoured to answer this email no later than 21.26 tonight. We can provide a variety of technical and general website advice to help you get the best out of your website.
Do you have any coupons or discounts?
There is no immediate discount available, except that if you subscribe for more than one year discounts range from 10% for a 2-year subscription up to 25% for 5 years. You would also be locking in our current price. Also as you plan to open two website accounts, there will be something we can do worth £26 to you off your second website. It involves using our 'Refer-a-Friend' promo scheme for which you have to have your first website established, and then be given a promo code to quote when you set up your second site. In effect you will be 'referring' yourself, but we don't mind, and it will entitle you to a one-off discount of £13 for your second site, and also a £13 commission cheque for your further custom. You can also refer other people in the same way and share the rewards, but we must first establish your promo code from your first website, so please get in touch once you have subscribed to that, before you subscribe to your second one, and tell us your username, and we'll give you the all important promo code to type in.
