They are down right now. They have been down 2 days now. You can never get real-time info about why it's down & when it will be back up. Just after-the-fact excuses about denial-of-service attacks. Their toll-free support line never has live support, and they don't call back if you leave a message. Their support page goes down when user sites go down. This has been very unreliable esp. in the last 2 months.

250free is fairly reliable with good service. Some of the features can be a pain sometimes, but it was a great place to start out.

The CEO, and almost ALWAYS the respondent to ALL support emails is HONEST, HELPFUL, and PATIENT with you. 250free is a great place to get started with a small website, then move up to their more advanced plans.

The only reason we left was because our website surpassed what was being offered at 250free, which is not easy to do!
