| Lenore .... I have comcast ISP...have not been able to get into my acct at 250free since the begining of Oct... I cannot click on any link with 250free... contacted Comcast, they did try to help, but it boils down to 250free blocking Comcast or not accepting them..whatever the tech term is I don't know... I called owner at 250free several times, left messages with info Comcast provided...still no return call...any emails sent to the owner ..were returned. My neighbor has Century link on his cell phone...he COULD get into my acct at 250free. I was a paying customer with 250free for many many years..now I lost money paid to 250free... from now on, if anyone asks me for a web host site referral, I will be sure to tell them to STAY AWAY FROM 250FREE!!!! I also posted on Facebook ..how horrible 250free host site is..not sure if any other ISP's were blocked... If 250free was/is having problems, the least they could do is let us know and return our money if not fixed. I call it stealing!!! plain and simple!!!!! |

| UPDATE -- Nov 13th 2010 at 8:00 PM EST 250Free.Com, totally down for much of today, is once more accessible from my home, but only thru the proxy I use. I was getting thru w/o proxy at work, and will test there later on. Best of Luck to All, Frank |

| It appears that something has happened with the people who own and run 250Free.com, although I do not know what it may be. At best, I think it can be described as a "Life After People" situation, where the servers have been running unattended for some time, but may now be shut down. According to information I obtained from the 250Free support forum (before it went down), the last time that the Head Administrator logged on was July 28th 2010. Up to October 9th, I had full access to the site from anywhere. Then for about 30-32 days thereafter, full access only through certain providers. If I had no access thru certain a provider, I used a proxy server service to get in. I was able to redirect my domain name to a new site host, but was not able to complete other matters. My current paid 250Free account was to be rebilled in January 2011, and my domain, registered thru 250Free's RegistryRocket.com, was set to continue thru July 2011. As of November 11th, I can't get to 250Free or RegistryRocket in any fashion. Best Of Luck to All Frank |

Rainbow Blvd. #1585 Las Vegas, NV 89107 +1.888.644.4384 the above is the site owner info and the email gets returned to me ( not existing) i am in the uk and am not trying to entertain that telephone number either, my site as been down also for a while and all my information files pictures ect are on the site. i am a paying customer also and it looks pretty much either they are updating or have gone with the money....i will give it until monday next week then if nothing i will report this site to the internet police and trading standards and much much more. this behaviour is un acceptable too. the site owner could have at least let all of the users there know what is happening. i am going to make an account up with freeservers at the moment to get my work out there. does anybody here know of any good servers out there? i already have .co.uk names i just want a server that is more there for its users and not their own pockets.... |

| i have tried to get access to my 250free.com site now for over a week and also tried to mail the site admins and even looked on "whois" for alternative email...the site is gone ! i have a premium account too. they have my money and i have no account. grrr. what is irratating too is there have been no warnings or emails re?: what is happening or reasons at all. does any one know of a good cheap hosting out there? 250free.com is wasting my time and yours with the looks.. when they come back i would like some sort of compensation as this is not the first time....failure will result in the site being reported to the right channels..i hope you are all in aggreement too !! there should have been at least some warning etc... i am un happy with the site and the way they have lack of respect to their paying people too... |

| 13th november 2010 for "THREE DAYS " now i have tried to gain access to my account on the 250free com site. i am unable to get hold of the admin too...even the whois email address pings my mail back to me.. does any one know of any GOOD --CHEAPISH ---SERVERS that are trust worthy out there and up more times than the 250 site? i like to make my own flash css html files so need something pretty decent....thankyou and i hope you all PLACE A REPORT as soon as you get back to 250.com EVEN IF IT IS AN EXTRA MONTH FREE AS AN APOLOGY... |

| Nov 12th 2010 As of this writing, trying to load 250free the pop-up said...250free is unknown...Nice/...does that mean that they have flown the coop..or have closed up shop??/ Man I hope not...I have all of my files there and no backup any where. Please a website i built there in 2003/ |

| I am about to yell my head off...I too am on comcast, my site has worked for year's on here...since OCT 7th I cannot get into it.....just is funny to me that everyone I know that is on comcast can not either...but other's that are not on comcast can.....after hour's of talking to comcast which by the way they can get into 250free in the office but we can't on 2 computer's and a lap--top??....comcast is just being lazy....did find a number to 250free leave a message hoping they will call back...so putting it up if it can help anyone because I am really ready to just give up grrrrrr....#1-888-644-4384 Good Luck to all of us !!! |
