What moneyback guarantees do you offer?
We offer a 7-day moneyback guarantee - if you're not satisfied with your
account, you can request a refund within that period, no questions asked.
What is your average uptime?
On our newer servers we tend to average 99.98% uptime, but only managed 99.975% last
month. Our target is 99.99%. We don't have a publically
available page you can check that from, though.
What is your support response time and what does it cover?
Our support doesn't extend to issues of web design, but we can assist with
any underlying configuration issues (i.e. anything that is preventing your
site from functioning normally).
Our support response time target is less than 1 hour, with a response guaranteed in
under 24. The average isn't logged, but is probably around 1-2 hours.
Do you have any coupons or discounts?
None whatsoever, I'm afraid. We're a budget hosting outfit, and our prices
are already as low as permitted.

| Good quality, good value hosting, created by techies for techies. No corporate bullshit or incompetent call centres. Supports anything within reason that is possible at the price. No VPSes on offer, but don't let that put you off: they can make almost anything work securely with clever magic tricks, so you get (almost) the functionality of a VPS for the price of ordinary shared hosting. And of course you can pay more for more RAM or CPU time, meaning that as long as your application can run on their setup, you get a much better resources to price ratio than you would with another host. At the cheap end, 5quidhost's free hosting service works great with anything that can output HTML, such as BlueGriffon for example (which is also free). When you pay peanuts, you don't always have to get monkeys. Sometimes you get 5quidhost instead. |
