I have been with AIT since the mid nineties. The level of support is amazing whether it's installing PERL modules, MYSQL, getting shell access. When issues arise they are respond professionally and courteously. Problems which can't be handled by tier 1 support are quickly elevated and dealt with by higher tiers up to and including Admin tier 4 if necessary. I will say that I have found that giving support as much information as possible in detail gets problems resolved quicker without the need of several exchanges. Because I can look back on issues from months or even years back in their support ticket area I am often able to give the techs guidance on past issues which seem to be repeating and get thing back to normal quickly. If you just say my email isn't working there night be a need for many follow up contacts, but if you leave detailed information about what is going on and what warning messages you are receiving the problems are normally corrected quickly.

You probably shouldn't host your website with AIT.

I purchased a hosting account on 2/24/2013 and today 3/29/2013 I finally talked to someone on their team and logged into my account! This only took 1 month and several hours of my time, but I got into my account! I'll admit that I didn't call everyday, but I called a few times, and they do not answer their phones. I probably sat on the phone waiting for someone to answer (a few different times) a combined 3 hours.

Just after purchasing my account, I asked them (via the support system) how to login to my hosting account, and I received a long email with tons of information that looked helpful, but ended up being the wrong information. After reading it several times, trying to follow the directions, and wasting tons of time, I called - with no luck - several times. Finally, I found sometime today at 12 AM and they picked up - call when everyone else is sleeping (AIT tip #1). I got a number from their live chat team, so maybe they give out a better number (AIT tip #2)? Either way, after this horrible experience just to login to my hosting account for the first time, and after reading this poorly written sentence in red font in my account - Please upgrade your plan to add more acouunt - I decided that the worst thing I could do was host any website with these folks. Horrible, nightmarish customer service is one thing, but if you top that off with proof that they pay no attention to detail, you'd be an idiot to trust them with your website.

They wouldn't refund my money, so I lost $9 and several hours of time. Awesome right! One more thing, the guy I talked to on the phone about a refund and cancelling my account told me I had the account for 3-months, and that because of this I couldn't get a refund (I purchased 3-months of service). After looking at my invoice I realized it was just over 1-month, so I guess he either can't read dates, or lied. In conclusion, host with anyone else (AIT tip #3).

This is a follow up to my last review. Things were resolved with the e-mail issue and weekend IT experts were sent in to fix the problem. My mail is fine now and am even receiving the older messages. AIT CEO and Quality Assurance reps contacted me to let me know what happened. They kept me in the loop, which I did appreciate. Customer service reps were very courteous during the glitch and they too kept me informed. Uptime is as advertised: 99.9%. Support has been excellent and reseller features are numerous and up to date.

AIT must have had another change in personnel because their weekend support sucks. I've been without mail for 2 days now and they can't fix it or tell me why. They were good for a couple years and now it's back to horrid events. If you have virtual hosts, stay away from them or you'll lose your clients.

AIT has the worst ever tech support on the phone as well as through their support ticket system. I have been having to reopen a tech ticket with them for over a week now because every day their techs close the ticket at 4:55 with some claim of it being fixed when it is not. Then they have the nerve to invite you to call them and when you do you find out that they get off and go home at 5:00. And it repeats day after day I am starting to wounder if the problem will ever be fixed. If you are going to rely on a website as a source of revenue AIT IS NOT FOR YOU

Received the following unsolicited email today.

"If you don't know who I am I apologize for sending this email to you. I just clicked all my contacts in an effort to get ahold of as many people as possible. As some of you all know I am the Chief Marketing Officer at Advance Internet Technologies. In an effort to increase sales we are asking everyone we know to follow us through social media and to post up-to-date reviews on different websites. One thing that we have noticed is that we have some bad reviews from 2002-2008 which don't accurately reflect or performance now. Please feel to go to one or all of the websites listed below and make-up glowing things about my company. No purchase is necessary, but if you want to purchase a web-hosting plan please feel to call me, I have the power to cut people pretty good deals."

I don't know this individual so I have no idea why my contact info in his contact list and then he asks me to lie?

I've been hosting my blogs with them from a year. I make all of my money though Google Adsense. I haven't had any problems so far and the price for what I'm doing is good.

I would like a nicer CPANEL though.

Apart from the outdated CPanel (why is it so ancient?) the hosting is superb! The prices are rock-bottom industry for the best specs possible.

I been with AIT for many years, and sadly I have to say I feel stuck with them, like a dog in a cage. I can not move some of my customers out of their hosting for other reasons, so therefore we are stuck with them, but for sure we are NOT expanding or enjoying their service.
The worst ever tech support, the longest downtime events in internet hosting history & the poor reliability of their services are living proof of who they are.Try to call their number for tech support.. oooooh you gonna love the frustrating 30 minute wait listening to their automatic answering system, Just to hear a person at the end tell you.."Please leave us a meesage"
WE have found a better hosting solution and we are expanding so rapidly we can't believe how much we were missing, by hosting with AIT.
Now that we have a REAL hosting Company behind us..the sky is the limit
