I've had Hosted Exchange customers (and my own email) with Apps4Rent for over 2 years now and would absolutely recommend their Hosted Exchange product. There was a bit of bad press around when I started with them so was a bit sceptical, but was pleasantly surprised. Since 2009 their support has really improved - both in speed and in quality - to the point where I can now be confident that I'll get quality support 24/7 for my 150+ customer mail accounts. Their prices are extremely competitive too.

The negative - I did have a hosted Kaseya service with them for a while, which I moved to another provider because of lack of support. My impression was that for the more mainstream / popular products like Exchange they were able to provide decent support, but not so much for a more niche product like Kaseya.

But mostly positive experiences! Check them out!

Had email down for most of the day and little response from support other than "we are working on it". Going into the 8th outage of no or delayed email by 2-4 hours

We have hosted exchange mailboxes with apps4rent for the last 2 years. Service is reliable and customer support is friendly. They seamlessly helped us migrate from Exchange 2007 to 2010 plans without a hitch.

I would highly recommend them to any one who is looking to host SharePoint or Project Server. They have one of the most knowledgeable team available 24x7. We moved from another provider 8 months ago and are very impressed.

Great support! Have been hosting exchange with them for 3 years. We accidentally deleted one mailbox they got it back in an hour of submitting the request! Also, added SharePoint Enterprise with them.

These idiots terminated by e-mail account for non-payment even though I was on auto-pay. They were sending me notices that there was a problem to an e-mail address that does not exist, so I was totally unaware that there was a problem until they shut down my e-mail account. Yes, you heard that right! They did not send me notices to my e-mail address, which I am paying them for! It’s not like they “did not have my e-mail address!”. WTF! Freak’n Losers! As a result of their incompetency I lost all of my e-mails, history, my entire address book, etc. Everything! Then they had the “balls” to ask me for a $50 fee to reinstall my data from their backup server. Give them a call sometime. They are huddled up in a little room somewhere in India and you can actually hear rotary phones (yes, “rotary phones) ringing in the background. This makes understanding their poor English all the more difficult! Good luck with these guys . . . . . .

I signed up for MS Project Server services. Not as advertised. Charged additional costs for creating reports at $39.99 per user. Reports were not configured - had to wait 7 days for that to be resolved. When that got resolved, could not customize reporting because Apps4 Rent said I had to pay an additional charge for SQL. Summary - at the advertised costs you CANNOT create reports from your Project server environment. But the real kicker came when I tried to cancel my account. I called on the last day of my agreement 29 Aug and was told that the process to cancel was automated - send an email. I sent an email at 3 am on the 30th August and then was told I was going to receive an email from the cancellation server. That happened, filled out the form, etc, sent it in. Within a few hours still on the 30 Aug I received a bunch of system generated emails saying I owed another month payment for September and my account could not be cancelled. What a bunch of bull. Everyone should really look close at the service levels you are getting - it has got to be better somewhere else.

Excellent SharePoint hosting service. One of the few providers offering all versions of SharePoint.
