gigacities.net offers free hosting plan with lots of space, bandwidth, PHP/MySQL support, etc. However, free plan lacks some features like POP3 or SMTP mail server support, and PHP/MySQL functionality is limited too. While simple scripts should work well with PHP configuration on gigacities.net servers, some advanced websites may need to upgrade package to paid plan to get advanced PHP functions enabled.

While registration was fast, account activation form and control panel was slow. We didn't get any timeouts, but access was much slower than gigacities.net main page. In other case, you may always upgrade current package to paid one.

Another good thing is that even simple plan is advertisements-free and visitors will not see any pop-ups or banner ads while browsing your website hosted with gigacities.net, so it's worth to consider.
