What moneyback guarantees do you offer?
On our standard website hosting services, we offer a 99.9% money back guarantee SLA. What this means is that if our shared website hosting services (which I believe will be one of the plans that you are looking at), are unavailable for a total of 42 minutes across an entire month, then we refund 100% of your money for that month. There are some conditions on this SLA - http://www.rackcorp.com/faq/guarantee.php. The conditions basically cover things that are well and truly out of our control, or could be used to deliberately cause outages and make claims against us.
What is your average uptime?
To date, NONE of our shared services have EVER fallen below 99.9% uptime since 2004 when we first started making this offer. Please don't interpret this as 100% uptime. This do go down every now and again for a few minutes here, a few minutes there, but we work swiftly to resolve issues which keeps our uptime well above 99.9% month after month.
What is your support response time and what does it cover?
All of our standard shared accounts come with 1hr of ticket support per month. You can log into our portal at any time, and create a 'ticket' detailing your questons / issues. You can then assign a timeframe that you would like resolution, which can include CRITICAL. When a ticket is marked critical, it takes priority, and our engineers are almost always onto all critical tickets within 5 minutes of them being placed.
We have expert staff skilled in all kinds of technologies in house who tickets can be referred to. There is rarely a case when we say "we cannot help you", and provided you aren't working with obscure technologies, this should never happen. We don't usually work with customers to 'develop' their website, however we can work with them in architecting their website for best performance / reliability. This may sometimes involve some coding changes that our staff can make, however this is usually an additional service.
Do you have any coupons or discounts?
There are no bonus features with our shared hosting services unfortunately. Our discount offers are across the board and consist of a 5% discount for customers spending US$1000/mth with us, and 10% for customers spending more then US$5000/mth with us. Unfortunately if you're doing less than this then we cannot offer you any discounts / offers at this time.
What else can you tell about your company and services?
We're different because we'll always be there to back you up in whatever you need. We host such a large range of websites from mission critical sites with tens of thousands of viewers per minute, to sites that only get a few visitors per week. This gives us a great ability to work with you with advice on how to grow your website. It also means you're dealing with some of the most reliable hosting technologies on the market. Our portal is the backbone of some large Telcos simply because nothing else out there scales so well. Please note that our portal is NOT Plesk of Cpanel so it may not have as many features as you may be used to, but is just as easy (if not more easy) to use, and is far more reliable.
