Default About protecting uploaded files... - 05-30-2009, 10:51 AM

Hi there! I've recently uploaded my first Joomla-based website and I'm very satisfied with 000webhost! I had the typical ftp limit quote problem but could solve it quickly thanks to this forum (using the 1 click website restore, thanks!).

Now to the question: I've embeded some media players in my website that play some .mp3 just for sample purpose (it's for a translation project I'm doing), but I don't want them to be downloaded. The problem is that if I change permissions via ftp then the media players won't play them! I'm not very familiar with chmod permissions, so I would like you to lend me a hand.

Resuming: I would like the files to be played via my website but not to be downloaded when you write its location on the browser.

Is it possible? Thanks anyway!
