000WebHost and its staff--
Thank you for providing the best free Web hosting available on the Internet I've found so far--and I've been to a
lot. You provide excellent, prompt support as well as an array of features I've found hard to come across within free Web hosting.
I would like to first compliment upon your great features. 350 megabytes of disk space is plenty to put everything you need online, and what's better is the 5 megabytes allowed per file, which exceeds even most image and file hosting Web sites that allow hotlinking. I also love how lenient your PHP system is--almost all functions are allowed, and I am particularly happy to at last find a reliable host with the mail() function enabled. The fact that your MySQL database has unlimited storage is fantastic, and your cPanel is convenient and fast-loading, while not being weighed down by ads, much like my Web site hosted by you is.
I have seen so many perfect free Web hosting providers like you go downhill. Some downsize and start putting advertisements on your Web site without notice (*cough* FunPic.org */cough*), some simply remove free hosting plans and unexpectedly purge all free hosting accounts (*cough* AngelHosting */cough*). Please,
please do not succumb to the horrors of getting rid of features. I would rather you stay at this stage and never expand your free hosting features than go too far and end up bankrupt and suddenly converting all your plans to paid hosting.
I do not resent paid hosting. But I have not yet come of age that paid hosting is an option--I am fifteen. I've been working with free hosting for seven years, starting with the places where everyone else starts out--Tripod, AngelFire, Yahoo! GeoCities, FreeWebs, .... Now I have moved on and expanded my taste to real quality hosting, especially those that encourage the unrestricted use of PHP and MySQL.
You are professional. You are not perfect, but in the ways you are not you are concise in informing me by quickly telling me what I cannot do. Your support is prompt, to the point, and directly answers my question. I will most definitely be recommending your hosting to friends, and I will continue to host my in-progress Web site with you in the hopes that (eventually) something will actually come out of it. Thank you, and I sincerely hope that you are able to continue to provide the hosting features you do for no cost, so that those of us who have not yet been privileged with the magic of credit cards may continue to take advantage of you.
One last time: thank you!
