If he owns the software i don't think it's a problem, lots of people have shopping type sites here. Would advise to go for paid hosting though if you want to run a business.

and is there any restrictions on type of software? (i don't mean that it's any kind of hack or others illegal things that can harm users)

Not sure, you'll have to either wait for an admin or submit a support ticket. Either way you'll probably be asked exactly what sort of software you're talking about.

As Shock said you would better ask what the software is. There should not be any cracks, keygens, nulled stuff etc. Otherwise 000webhost will just suspend the account.
