I hear you. In fact the reason I didn't reply sooner is because I got zapped with the Safeom virus from one of the posted links on this forum. I forgot which post but it was short and had only the link and no text, but I'll keep looking.

Ouch, virus infections are a bad thing hehe. On the positive side that might teach you to be careful clicking links or get some proper Anti Virus (AVG is pretty good, i use it myself and itīs free).

I have AVG but it expired and I forgot about it until things started popping up and things freezing ... then it got my attention but too late. Oh well a lesson learned. I finally figured it out and AVAST saved me.

Yeah Microsoft Security Essentials is pretty good it seems to update its virus definitions quite regularly but no regularly enough for my customers - instead a free alternative to run alongside Microsoft is AVG free or Avast free. Both are quite good and more recommended by Microsoft as their software doesn't quite detect all things.
