The reply from the helpdesk is that they don't know when.

If it's deliberate or not only they can know.

I do agree that while it's down they should have removed that they have a fantastico autoinstaller. Though it's also understandable they don't remove it if they think it soon will be back up and running.

Couldn't think of a fancy signature, so you get a instead.

It had been down at least since February this year, the don't know when it will be up, with mean it probably not will be any time soon or it will be up at all again.

When is have been down, sow long you can advertise you have, for you don't.

Who knew may today one sign up for account just to find out the the fantastico autoinstaller don't work, and the only reason he/she signed up because of it.

You are right. If they are not going to bring it up, they can switch to a cheaper one. Softaculous is an example.

Totaly agree with your guys.
I joined this Community for the Auto Installer that it has.
Just wanna to make sure that I can use Joombla.
Tried it. Doesn't wanna to install.
So I read the forums a few times. And I saw this Topic. Like I read I dont think they will fix it if it was February that it broke.
Maybe a pay member only thing?

I've been trying to install wordpress manually but I keep running into multiple errors from the ftp on their side and getting filezilla to connect. I had found this feature today but since fantastico has been down since February, I think I should beginning looking up how to fix my problem because fantastico's not going to be up anytime soon. Too bad too because that would resolve all the issues I'm having.

Best thing to do is use Net2Ftp's (http://net2ftp.com) installer. login to it with your ftp details click 'install' tab it gives you a file that is an auto installer. It has WordPress and Moodle etc
