Just want to point out some things...

I just want to point out some things.
On this page, http://www.000webhost.com/free-cpanel-hosting, you tell us that you're using cPanel, but you do not. And the details are totally wrong too. Also, on this page, http://www.000webhost.com/features, you're telling us that you use the latest version of cPanel, but that's also wrong.

On your homepage, you're telling us that you use the latest version of PHP ("You get full access to the latest version of PHP"), but that is false too.

And here, http://www.000webhost.com/free-domain-hosting, you say we can access our email account on mail.yourdomain.com, but it doesn't work.

Seems that there's a few areas that need to be updated, I'm sure it's on a "to do" list somewhere :)

Technically, this IS possible and fairly easy to set up. Just create a "mail" subdomain and redirect it to the webmail login. That's all it really is anyway.

You could always set up your own dedicated email script in a subdomain also, but I'm just not that ambitious today. :D

But it should be default, so you don't need to create a subdomain.

The mail should work fine, and the other stuff doesn't really affect me that much.

But what I would really like to see is an auto-installer. They've been updating it for quite a while.

Well, the accuracy of the 'pre-sales' information should be top of the 'to-do' list, as people base their decision to build their sites by this provider on it.
And when they go ahead, trusting that information, their site doesn't (quite) work, they try to find workarounds and before they know it, the site is deleted and they get slapped around the ears with a TOS that is completely beside the point.
Don't promise things you can't deliver. Don't blame users for defects in your server.

Our website will be upgraded shortly (as you may have noticed we updated premium hosting www.hosting24.com website recently). Sorry for the mistypes, they will be fixed.

Aaf 09-26-2012 07:15 PM

Don't think it is mistyped, probably rather outdated. Perhaps all WAS the latest version when the pre-sales info was written. So, instead of stating 'the latest version', either put "the latest version of 2010" or the explicit version number.
But good to hear that you are going to put things right, saves disappointments and frustrations.

Half a year later, still the same outdated info. Looks like it is as old as from 2009.

mithcd 03-30-2013 07:24 PM

Ohhh. I haven't really noticed it. I guess they're busy with some other things like developing perhaps. https://imagicon.info/cat/12-28/vbulletin-smile.gif
