they cancelled my account without any warning..while i was backing my site up..they basically say if you have a free account ..you have no rights but if you pay they'll be your little sweet heart..i have changed my dns to another host but its keeps going to http://error404.000webhost.com/. i want to be done with 000webidiots and they are still haunting me..its been 24 hrs i know they say up to 48 hrs but it is usually not this long..

There is nothing 000webhost can do with this.
Try clearing your cache.

I've had no problems with 000webhost cancelling my account.

They only cancel your account if you do something against it's terms and conditions.

They have to be ruthless with free accounts, or people would abuse the service would get a chance to, er, abuse the service

Also as Leder said your problem is nothing to do with 000. Open the command prompt, and type in ipconfig /flushdns.

they don'y have to be ruthless! they canceled my account too and I still don't know why. I read the terms and conditions but I still don't know what I did wrong. not everyone try to abuse the service.
They should give a warning before caceling an account.
I can only recover my files and database now if I pay!
I think this is just a cheap trick to get money from the people
and you can forgetting contacting helpdesk...

What exactly was on your site?

and the helpdesk is understaffed at the moment, that's why it takes a long time to get a reply from there. You have to be patient.

I think that you should read and follow the forum rules, perhaps your repeated messages are not deleted.

#5. Do not resubmit same questions to different(or same) categories. Double posts will lead to a warning (or ban later).

Maybe if you read it and will respect the rules of the forum from the beginning, your repeated messages wouldn't be deleted.

Indeed, it is not allowed in this forum, hijack threads started by other users.

There weren't any repeated messages and I definitely was not hijacking any threads. (But I'm sure you know that.) I was just agreeing with Sbandin and confirmed that the same thing happened to me.

It is rather strange that you are deleting things and chasing users but not even giving a try reflecting on the questions they ask or the problems they have.
