Hi, I have a account with a wordpress blog. I have installed some plugins, but when some have updates avaliable, the updates with some plugins fails.

For example: GD Star Rating, Theme Options, GD simple Widgets, GD Press Tools, etc

These plugins when update write some files on wp-content/plugin/ but the installs fails and not show error on wordpress.

The only way for make a update is copy all files with ftp. This is annoying.

Beside, other plugin like Wordpress Automatic Upgrade fails by exec() disable.

I yet have to see a wordpress installation on 000webhost.com that has automatic updates working, be it plugins or WP itself. The problem are serverside restrictions and that leaves you with the option to update the plugins yourself by uploading them via ftp.

Could you reduce some of these resctrictions for update plugins? It would be useful for many users.

I doubt the admins will for example enable exec() on free hosting, let alone a number of other functions that are really useful but not available
