Default Warning: realpath() joomla - 12-28-2009, 06:17 AM

installed extplorer with ftp mode enabled fine, but when i open it from compnents it shows this error
Warning: realpath() [function.realpath]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/usr/local/apache/htdocs) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/:/usr/lib/php:/tmp) in /home/a7719681/public_html/administrator/components/com_extplorer/include/functions.php on line 76

please help

You are trying to access a file that is not in your directory.

as i said - i did a fresh install of extplorer that was all fine

then i just went to components to open extplorer and get the message - so how am i opening something that does not exist? the component does not even open?

I had the same problem with the component eXtplorer, but I solved by adding this line to your configuration script:

In the file "/ administrator / components / com_extplorer / config / configuration.php"

I added:
$ GLOBALS ["home_dir"] = "/ members / my-username";

just below:
//------------- Configuration Variables --------------------------------- ------------

Now it is a bomb!
In short, the component is not crucial but it really soooo comfortable!
