Exclamation [Joomla] Uploading by php - 02-11-2010, 08:02 AM

I've installed Joomla 1.5 on my website. If i want to upload an image more than 2mb in content manager i get an error. The reason is, that the limit of uploading files by php is 2mb.
How can i adventure this permission?

Have you tried using Joomla's built-in FTP under global configuration? You may be able to bypass the PHP upload limit.

You could try this (add to configuration.php) but it's probably locked on the server:
ini_set('upload_max_filesize', '8M');
