Red face Joomla question - 03-04-2010, 03:20 AM

I've tried searching for this on Google, but haven't found an answer.

000webhost doesn't allow mass mailing and will disable an account on this basis, right? How do I disable the mass mailing function on Joomla?

I don't want to use it and I wouldn't want to lose the account over something like that (I think aaages ago, I remember reading someone lost their account without realising it was bulk emailing?). I don't know much about it.

Thanks.

You could copy down the address of the page which mass mailing in joomla and chmod it to 000 or password protect it in the control panel. I've had a long look on the Joomla forums and see no easy way to disabling mass emailing just how to disable stopping the user activation email go out, which I see most people need?
