Default Folders and Directories - 03-09-2010, 02:48 AM

Hi! I finally updated to a paid site here (woot) and it has unlimited space, with all the bells and whistles.

In my ftp there are two folders. One is my public_html and I know what that is for, but there is another folder that has my first name. I do not understand what it is there for, and what uses would I have for it?

Anybody have any ideas or answers?

Thanks!

Is it in the public_html folder? - A screen shot would be helpful because I don't see that in mine.

I want to see this too
A folder with your name on the FTP?
Must have been created by yourself or you dragged your name on a folder from your system onto the site accidentally.

Hi Guys, thanks for both replies! I have attached a screen shot as per your request. Any input as to what I can do with it, would be appreciated! Thanks

Did you create a subdomain? Ie: nick.docpromo.com? - It actually seems to work as docpromo.com/nick. :/ You must have created this as mind never did this. Or I don't remember it doing that at least.

If you create a subdomain/re-direct
meaning

www.forums.yoursite.com

would create forums.yoursite.com and yousite.com/forums

yeah by the looks of it http://docpromo.com/nick/safemail.html
it was created by you in some way or another.
