login to your 000webhost cpanel go to phpmyadmin choose that database you want then top of webpage you can see a link saying "export" click that and export all tables to your harddrive save as sql file or zip

Does Joomal not have a backup system on the script its self?

in your cpanel there is 1-click backup that you can use.
