hi... I got problem with thumbnail with comfy themes

the thumbnail didn't show, I got the following error msg :

phpThumb() v.1.7.9......

Usage :
wp-content/themes/comfy/scripts/phpThumb.php?src=/path/and/filename.jpg
read usage comment for detailnya

anyone have idea to solve the problem...really appreciate..thanks

did you make the directory in which the thumbnails are saved writeable?

I tried to make my upload folder writable but I got the following msg

warning: ftp_site() [function.ftp-site]: Could not change perms on /public_html/wp-content/uploads: Operation not permitted in /home/manager/public_html/includes/filesystem.inc.php on line 572

any suggestion?

What about changing permissions using a ftp client? Did you try that?

yes..I already changed the permissions but it still now working

I guess the problem with the phpthumb script in the themes..

did you follow the installation procedure that comes in the Installation.txt file?

I got this solved, the problem is with configuration for Root Directory for phpThumb
