Hi all,

Could you please help? I am unable to change my Wordpress Permarklink Through the Dashboard, Setting, Permarklink.
How could I change my post's url to below format?

http://mydomain.com/mypostname

It always shows error when I try to change to this below format and others:
http://mydomain.com/%postname%/

When you set permalinks through the dashboard, there's usually a snippet of code at the bottom of that page that you have to paste into your .htaccess.

When you select the permalink you want in the WordPress (WP) dashboard, there should be a gray box at the bottom of the page with some code. You need to paste that code from WP into your .htaccess. If you dont have a .htaccess file, you need to make one.

create new file and rename with .httacces (with dot) then copy paste the codes from wordpress sugestion change the Cmod to 666
