I just finished creating my blog, following Cajen's tutorial, but I’m having some problems. The blog doesn’t show any images. I’ve tried different themes, and the pictures that comes with the themes doesn’t show up.
I’ve also tried uploading my own pictures and replace the theme pictures with my pictures, but they still don’t show up. I’m pretty sure it’s not an uploading problem or a problem with the image files.
The weird thing is, if I right click in the place where the pictures should be, I’m able to see the picture properties, so it acts as if the pictures were there, we just can’t see them.

I’ve been reading many sites, trying to find a solution for this problem and I’ve tried changing the htaccess file (although I don’t know anything about this subject), I’ve tried changing the permission levels and I’ve also read it could be something related to hotlinking (but I don’t know how to change this). I tried to see if it was a problem with the host server, but I don’t know anything about this, so it’s hard to know what to look for.

Could this be a problem with the htaccess file? How to fix this?
Or maybe it's something more simple that I'm not being able to see, like some configuration in wordpress.

I was trying to check the images using my ftp programs and the images can't be loaded, it's like they're corrupted. But I don't know what's causing this, I checked the images before uploading and they're fine, but once I upload them, they can't be displayed anymore. Is this a problem with the ftp uploading?

I still think it may have something to do with the htaccess file or some configuration that I need to change.

Fernando, as imagens às quais você se refere são as que fazem parte do design do seu tema, ou imagens que você está colocando nos seus posts? Porque se for as do seu tema, então seu site não tem problema algum. Posso vê-lo perfeitamente bem; tudo está de acordo.

Experimente limpar o cache do seu navegador. Faça isso várias vezes - principalmente se for o Internet Explorer, que, particularmente, eu detesto -; recomendo que use o FireFox.

De qualquer forma, faça o que lhe disse. Limpe o seu cache e reinicie o computador. Você deverá ver as imagens.

Apropósito... você ainda não postou. Experimente postar um artigo com imagens, e avise-me quando tiver feito.

...parabéns pela escolha do tema. É um bom template o que você escolheu.
Só achei que a cor do título ficou pouco visível. Experimente alterar, na folha de estilos CSS, a cor da fonte do título. Acho que branco cairia bem. Este cinza está difícil de enxergar...

Muito obrigado por tentar ajudar. As imagens que eu não estava vendo era do tema mesmo. Agora também consegui visualizar, mas acho que é porque fiz o upload novamente, dessa vez usei o gerenciador de arquivos do próprio host. Creio que não configurei corretamente o programa de ftp.
Ah, eu uso o firefox também.

Quanto ao tema, apesar de ter gostado desse, ainda não sei se vou usá-lo. Estou vendo outras opções mais simples.

Amanhã eu verifico se o problema é no programa de ftp, qualquer dúvida eu posto aqui. Obrigado novamente por ajudar.
