This is a wordpress issue.

When I go to view a post I see a blank page, non 404 error code.

Pages display fine, categories render fine and the posts can be read in a categories, but any request for the post is blank.

Permalinks are set to /%postname%

When I look at the page source of a blank post page this is all I see:

Any Ideas why ?

Start by removing the stats code (link here) to see if the problem goes away.

I have done that. Now the source is blank.

Probably a typo but your permalink should be /%postname%/ with the last forward slash not /%postname%.
