Default (Solved) Upload issue with Filezilla - 06-13-2009, 11:28 AM

Hi all,
I can't upload all my joomla files...
When I reach about 3000 files server stops accepting connection...

Is it a bandwidth protection?

Not necessarily. Just try to reconnect and resume the upload. I noticed that the ftp connection sometimes just hangs when uploading a bunch of files

Thatīs why it wonīt work. You exceeded the file quota and therefore canīt upload any more files.

I suppose you have reached your FTP quota, and can therefore no longer upload files. It's how they save space I suppose. But I do not see how a Joomla website will take up all 1500MB of your space.

Send me a message, I may be able to help you.

My site is composed by 6339 files that reached about 26.4 MB...
The site is not finished, only installation files that composed the CMS are 4024 files...
With this rule I'm unable to use Joomla on your web hosting...

If you upload it via one click web restore, it will bypass the limit.
