Hi,

I know the free host of web44.net domains has SMTP allowed because ive already test it, but my question is:

If i have a domain... example.com

And I choose to host this example.com at 000webhost... would it be allowed SMTP?

I ask because of this:

http://www.000webhost.com/upgrade

Here says its not allowed SMPT in free hosts, but if in web44.net domains are allowed maybe in .com domains its allowed also, by now.

Arent they?

Is SMPT allowed for .com domains free hosted or not?

I have hosted a phpBB3 forum in 000webhost....... It also has the free domain web44.net.........I used gmx SMTP server for board email. (I triend gmailSMTP but it was not working)......It was working without any problem......

Im aware free domain web44.net has SMTP system working just fine, I use SMTP at my web44.net domain too.

The question is about a domain.com hosted on 000webhost, because in the upgrade to premium account says SMTP is not allowed and Im having some SMTP problems with my domain.com hosted at 000webhost.

if smtp work in free subdomain it will also work in own domain

You can use the google.com/a they have e-mail you can use, you just have to edit your MX record.. i have used it and i love it, but there SMTP is ssl, that will cause a problem with scrips like phpbb3 and other stuff

use the php send mail thing... (if your useing it for phpbb3)

Look, thats the same site, hosted in two different ways a 000webhost:

http://kanehell.web44.net/ <------ hosted at 000webhost free domain
http://definicao-design.com/ <------ hosted at 000webhost with my own domain

In the first one, the form mail is working just fine.
User put something on the fields and click "ok", the informations are sent to my email.

In the second one it not happens, the email is not sending to me.

Thats doesnt make any sense to me, anyone could help me to understand?

because there is no mail in this host
