try to put a captcha verification to the contact form

It is most likely the contact form, you will want to add some sort of verification, as if it gets worse the spam bots may send your over the allowed emails you can send per minute or hour.

Once you put captcha in, the bots should no longer be able to email you, as they cannot fill out the form, anyway let us know what happens.

That would be a bit difficult to do as they tend to use multiple emails, he shouldn't have any more problems though if he added captcha.
