Hi I recently designed a site in Dreamweaver CS4 and I tried uploading it. So I went to sites << manage << selected my site << Remote Info and then selected FTP and filled out the info that I got from my "FTP Login and Upload Details".

So when I filled everything out it looked like this:


Then when I pressed "Test" I got the error:


What did I do wrong? I copied and pasted the my "FTP Login and Upload Details" directly into Dreamweaver and made sure every detail was correct. Also I checked if my file manager is working and it worked perfectly.

So if anyone has some extra time, please help. Bye!

Please try it without the public_html and try changing your FTP password and trying again.

I still got the same error. Anything else i should try? Perhaps, would some more screenshots help?

I unfortunately never have used Dreamweaver, however I will still try to do my best in helping you, are you sure you do not have a firewall setup that may be blocking Dreamweavers outgoing connections, and can you please try connecting with a program such as Filezilla? http://filezilla-project.org/

You have 2 options how you can upload it to our server. Files must be uploaded to public_html folder!

i have a yola free website .........................how do i do this with yola free site.

Don't thread jack. :P

Also, Yola is in no way associated with 000webhost therefore your Yola website can ONLY be hosted with Yola. But I recommend 000webhost.

Instead of using DreamWeaver, take those files in which you created, and upload with FileZilla instead.
