Default Transferring Databases - 10-01-2010, 01:31 AM

Hello.

I recently purchased webhosting with a paid service elsewhere and I want to retrieve a backup MySQL database from you at the domain lartfoundation.org.

This is basically so I can restore my wordpress blog on the new server. I tried downloading the backup early this morning from the CPanel but it kept timing out (actually the whole site has been timing out on your server for two days now which is why I purchased the new paid hosting).

Please assist me in this matter. I'm ready to start fresh but if you have an older backup file I can download, or instruct me how I can save my blog I'd really appreciate it.

Thanx in advance for any help.

If you go to phpmyadmin from the members cpanel, you can generate a backup yourself.

1) Once you're in Phpmyadmin, Click on the "Export" tab
2) Make sure all your tables are selected (they should be by default)
3) Select "zip" (or other compression format)
4) Click on Save/OK at the bottom of the screen and it will start archiving and then downloading.
