Default Bulk Emails - TOS - 10-01-2010, 02:49 AM

Hi, I have a question regarding bulk emails.

My site has around 400 registered users, and I tend to send them an update once every month of the new things going on. The problem is, according the the TOS, this is forbidden...

Does this apply to me, in my case? If so, is there anyway I can work around this? For example, my CMS allows me to set the amount of emails I send per minute, per hour, per day etc. If I where to set 10 emails per hour, would this violate the TOS?

Thanks!

You can upgrade to the pro host. But, I would think 10 an hour is goo.

No mass mailers / spammers are allowed (account will be automatically suspended if you will try to send mass mail), so if your software supports such feature, disable it right now.

You can send up to 30 mails per 5 min and 100 emails per 1 hour (that makes up to 2400 emails per day).

Lol, 30 emails per 5 mins for an hour is more than 100. Or does that mean like only 30 per 5 minutes by no more than 100 an hour.

^^ As asked above, how will this work? So if I send 30 mails per hour, I'm in the safe zone, right?
