Default Question about TOS - 01-27-2011, 12:26 AM

I just created another domain to house most of my documentation from a university program I did a few years back. All files are in PDF format.

But then I was reading the TOS and one of the conditions is that it can't be used for storage only. I was planning on using OpenGoo (now called FengOffice) to actually catalog/access all the files. It's written in PHP and used MySQL as a back end. But that would pretty much be the only way I access the files.

Could someone tell me if that constitutes a violation of the TOS?

Thanks in advance.

if you are the only one who has access to the files, you might get suspended for it, but if the files are published, I don't think it would be considered as a storage only.

But Google Docs probably seems like the right way to go for this one

Default OpenGoo/FengOffice - 01-27-2011, 11:28 AM

Actually, no GDocs isn't ideal for this. First, because I've already got everything set up in OpenGoo. Second, the way I can link notes/calendar events/contact info/project status/milestones/invoicing just can't be done inn GDocs.

That last sentence should give an idea also that I want to use it for other document/project management.

Thanks though.

Anyone from 000webhost that could give me a definitive answer?
