Default Need help on setting up Facebook Application - 06-07-2011, 09:59 AM

Please accept my apology for any un-pro questions.

I am trying to setup my facebook app but facebook kept denying my site url.
Is there anything wrong with my url or facebook does not support??

Access your website at: http://collageme.netii.net
Access your website with www.: http://www.collageme.netii.net

I have tried both url above. But facebook replys " Site URL is not a valid URL."

Please advice me.

Thank you

It can take 2 or 3 days for a URL to propagate across the internet, and facebook seems to take even longer to recognise new ones. Just try again in a few more days.

Have you read this page: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/guides/canvas/ ?

It looks to me as though you don't have the required data in your website at top level. If it's all in the php folder then you should give face book the URL http://collageme.netii.net/php
but I haven't actually tried it myself.

If I click on your PHP folder I get:
The website directing you here was not a Facebook page. If you entered your Facebook login information on the previous site, you will need to reset your password.

So, I think the above suggestion is correct.

I cant set the facebook Site URL, Canvas URL and site domain.
They denied my url. I have tried these:

http://www.collageme.netii.net/
www.collageme.netii.net
http://www.collageme.netii.net/php/

http://collageme.netii.net/
collageme.netii.net
http://collageme.netii.net/php/

all my files are being uploaded inside the folders, to access them one have to go through facebook. But they denied the url.

Please advice

Try asking on the facebook developers forum - somebody on there must have had the same problem: http://forum.developers.facebook.net/

Validation failed.

Canvas URL is invalid because it is a redirection URL. Please enter the destination URL instead.
what is this "destination URL" ?
would it be this instead ?
HTTP#server42.000webhost.com/home/aNXXNXNN/public_html/
