Default Multiple Domain Names to One Account, Without Parking ?? - 09-02-2011, 03:01 PM

Hey guys,

Need a little advice

I set up a site for a friend who's just starting out and he's just purchased two more domains a .com and a .co.uk the original domain he had was a .mobi this is the one I used to set the account up and a built the site on.

What would be the best way to get the .com & .co.uk to go to the website, I know I can use parking or forwarding but they use cloaking or just point to the homepage, I would like to if possible keep the link structure for instance if I typed mydomain.mobi/?cat=6 I would also be able to do mydomain.com/?cat=6 and mydomain.co.uk/?cat=6
With parking or forwarding this isn't possible I'm guessing if I just added 000webs nameservers ns01.000webhost.com, ns02.000webhost.com to the .com and .co.uk they wouldn't just point to my site or would that work?

The names are with godaddy I searched on this board and read the faq I did find a sticky post about adding 1 to the IP address, 31.170.160.81 +1
I thought that might work but not sure or maybe adding the IP 31.170.160.81 to godaddy's DNS manager in the hosts @ but from what I've read that's not really my IP?
Thought it would be an idea to ask before I go changing everything and waiting for it to update.

Hope this makes sense, if anyone has any ideas would really appreciate some info or the best way to do this if it's possible.

Thanks

M.

This is a parked domain. I'm not sure if 000webhost supports it.

If you went into the members area and put the 2 domain names in their with the 2 nameservers aswell then your site will point to those two domains, not sure about the extensions bit though (/page=5)

Edit - That's if an account was opened with 000webhost and your friends' site was put their.
