hi, i have a lightning detector, and electronice weather satio that i like to upload to the website to be published. when i go into the connection setting on the weather software i become stuck.

it asks me the FTP server name? (which server name do i put in).

and a user name and password? (what is it asking for and where do i get this)

and finally destination directory? (what do i out in here).

Hi, in members area and then into cpanel click on 'view account details', there you'll see 'file upload details'
All ftp settings that you mention are there. (file upload destination is 'public_html')
