Default Can't Point Domain to 000webhost - 02-04-2012, 08:53 AM

Hi

I need help connecting my domain name to 000webhost. My domain is with Namesco and i linked the ns01.000webhost.com and ns02.000webhost.com in the DNS with type A.

I have waited way over 48 hours and it still is not pointing to 000webhost.
Does anyone know a solution.

THanks

It is best to use nameservers that a record type A.
In nameservers you should write: ns01.000webhost.com and ns02.000webhost.com
To use A record type, you should enter the IP address.
You can see all the configuration data of the 000webhost entering CPanel, "View Account Details".

You must not link ns01.000webhost.com and ns02.000webhost.com with type A
You must link as namespace or DNS and not type A record.

Update: What is the domain that you're trying to set?

If I put ns01.000webhost.com and ns02.000webhost.com as a nameserver type, it just dissapears when i save the record. Would it still work?

The domain is partytime-catering.co.uk

The registration information for your domain is:
Code:
Domain name: partytime-catering.co.uk
...

Registrar:
Namesco Limited t/a Namesco Ltd [Tag = NAMESCO]
URL: http://www.names.co.uk

Relevant dates:
Registered on: 28-Jan-2012
Renewal date: 28-Jan-2014
Last updated: 28-Jan-2012

Registration status:
Registration request being processed.

Name servers:
ns0.phase8.net
ns1.phase8.net
ns2.phase8.net

There seems to be a problem when configuring the nameservers for your domain.
If it just dissapears when you save the record, you should contact your domain provider and ask why you can not save the new nameservers.

From this forum I think we can do nothing more.
