I think I read it was having problems. Are you able to create a database and get started on the install.php? Or are you not even able to get that far?

I can create a database and get started on the install.php. If I go into phpmyadmin though there are no databases displayed.

Got the same problem, and also while installing Wordpress. Get the error message

"We were able to connect to the database server (which means your username and password is okay) but not able to select the ... database."

And phpmyadmin says there are no databases.

Seems to be an on going, short term problem at the moment with some servers. I'm sure 000webhost are onto it.

Try reuploading wordpress into a new 000webhost account.

Thanks, that was good advice! That way I was assigned a different MySQL-Server that worked.
