Question custom domain redirects(301) to .hostzi.com - 08-03-2012, 10:40 AM

I got a free "myndivahetus.hostzi.com" domain with 000webhost account.
Now I'd like to change my sites domain to something that looks bit more professional.

So I registred a domain and pointed it's A record to the ip shown in my account details.

Now when I wisit my new address, I get 301 permanent redirect to http://myndivahetus.hostzi.com/ , rather than just being able to visit my site under the new domain.
Is it set by 000webhost, or should I consult my domain provider about it?

You could just create a new account here using your new domain name and swap the files over to it. Then change nameservers or use A record again.
Or you could park your domain ontop of your old domain in cpanel.

I think i could have already parked my new domain to my existing account.
Does the parking mean 301?
If it does, then as I do not want to redirect from new to old, but rather opposite, can the 301 be changed to 302 until I have created new account and transfered all files and folders?

If the sites not that big then it won't take very long to move to a new account. I wouldn't waste time trying to get the old account how you want it if you're going to move.
