Default MySQL & Name Servers - 06-01-2008, 03:02 PM

Alot of posts are being made about how do I point my domain too my website & why am I getting errors when trying to install a script with MySQL.

Before you park the domain in your CPanel your domain name must be pointed to the following name servers.

ns01.000webhost.com
ns02.000webhost.com

After the Name servers have been changed then you will need to use the "park domain" feature in your CPanel.

As for MySQL errors make sure your using the correct hosts. A new hosts was added and people are getting errors for typing in the old one when it's including in your database info to use the new one. The following are the MySQL hosts you most likely need for most scripts.

mysql1.000webhost.com
mysql2.000webhost.com

Your exact MySQL hostname is listed in your "Control Panel" -> "MySQL"
