hi,
your tipp might be what i am looking for. Let's say, i have a .xml file which is export from wordpress blog. I want to restored it in 000webhost account. As far as i understand i have to follow
1) Zip .xml file
2) upload to serve by ftp software
3) Go to "1-Click Website Restore"

Is that right?

PS: i tried to import by wordpress but no success.

do i need to install wordpress to new website before restore the file?

Not uploading your zipped files through FTP,upload through 1-Click Website Restore please.

i install wordpress and did upload through 1-Click Website Restore but it doesn't work. It just simply unzip the .xml file to wordpress folder and the blog is still empty.
How can i do now?

Do you sure your wordpress files only contain.xml?
It is usually a folder with some images,templates,.php files inside.
I guess you had uploaded wrong files.

You need to update nameservers to ns01.000webhost.com, ns02.000webhost.com for your domain.

Please help me, I don't understand the words above. I ask all of you the problem solving. Thank you

what i did is:

1. Zip old WP including directory structure
2. Unzip by 1-click as you suggest to new domain
3. Change wp-config file to access 000webhost database

when i first access to the new site, it ask for name and pass in the same as i install new wp. Then i could not access anymore.

my site : www.vieebay.com

what can i do ?

i decide to reinstall WP and import xml file to WP. Do you know why the website always corrupt after import xml file?
