How many computers are there in 000webhost.com? -

I thought I can start recommending 000webhost.com to my friends.
First I thought 000webhost.com has at least several tens of computers, perhaps hundreds. But this morning admin wrote to the announcements:
"To compare I will provide difference between new and old server:
Current server: AMD Opteron(tm) Processor 1216
New server: Dual Processor Quad Core Xeon 5430 - 2.66GHz (Harpertown) - 2 x 12MB cache
Current disk drive: 250GB SATA Drive
New disk drive: 73GB SCSI - 15K RMP Drive with RAID-1
Current RAM: 2 GB
New RAM: 4 GB
This move should not be notable - first we will update DNS and once 000webhost.com will start pointing new server we will move the whole MySQL database (we will have to shut down the whole system until MySQL database will be move to the new server for about 1 hour)."
Thanks for the info.
The new machines are faster than I expected. An embarrassing test revealed that (or my test is wrong).
I have been using about 1 GHz computers and measured page generating time with microtime(), rounding the float values to milliseconds. Typically I have seen some hundreads of milliseconds.
I ran the same tests in 000webhost.com yesterday and today. I was sure something was wrong with my microtime() or gettimeofday() functions usage in php, because the results were always showing 0 millisecond time in page generation. Hours of searching... until I happened to put a 2 second delay to the page --- and saw then 2007 millisecond page generation time!
If your computers and service are as good as these first impressions indicate, then I would consider to move to the paid service in few months.
Also we have another server to host 000webhost.com site itself. We are moving 000webhost.com site to new dedicated server, so all functions will work faster (like members area, redirects, signups, and so on)
