Default Word documents - 01-30-2012, 11:03 AM

Hello.
I am using a free web template from webhost.
I had to add pdf files, but had rouble with it, so i converted it to word.
Now, i mean really.
Still doesn't work.
I cannot paste it at all and i have that option on the editor.
Can anyone please give me a very simple way to add those documents on the wenpage.
Kindly appreciated.

Cant you just create a page with the web builder and then paste the contents of the document in?

I dont think so.
I have tried to paste in any way i can think of, but no way it want to work with me.
unless i type everything, which will b a problem as i have no idea what funky font it is the client used and she doesnt know either.

Simply pasting the contents won't work really.
Do you want to make those documents available for download or actually embed them into the site?

If for download:
Upload them to either the public_html or a subdirectory of your choice and then link to them from the website using this if uploaded to public_html
HTML Code:
<a href="filename.doc">Download Document</a>
or if uploaded into subdirectory
HTML Code:
<a href="name_of_subdirectory/filename.doc">Download Document</a>

Okay Karma.
Ive uploaded them in public html.
Now sorry tosound so stupid, but exactly where to i link them with the code and should i name "file name document" when adding the code.
And should i do that with each of the 5 files or just onece?
