However the people that do this are required by law to have
clearly visible warning signs
in the areas where they operate.
For those of us with their own computer and therefore naturally have backups your hidden usage policy is only a minor annoyance. We simply move on to other providers or slip back in under the radar within minutes.
But for those less fortunate who spent what little money they had and countless hours in cyber cafes because they cannot afford a PC. Trying to better themselves and their lifestyle discovering these hidden rules are like a hammer blow to the head.
Would it really be so hard to give them their code & database back as a zipped file attached to an email or two before you wipe the account?
Simply destroying all their hard work just because they broke a rule you did not tell them about IMHO words such as narcissistic and petulant spring to mind but as you run a business I'll treat you as an adult and appeal to your wallet simply saying it does not look like this hidden minefield policy of yours is encouraging people to pay for hosting with you.
