- Processor : Intel (R) Celeron (R) CPU 1.70 GHz -> 1.72 GHz
- VGA : NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 with AGP 8X
- Motherboard : ASUS P4SE (sorry, if I don't list it on my screenshot..)
- Hard Disk : ST340015A (40 GB)
- ODD : TSST Corp. SH-S202H (DVD-RAM Drive)

Aaw, what the heck, i mise well share:

HP Pavilion dv4230us 15.4" Laptop (Intel Celeron M Processor 380, 512 MB RAM, 60 GB Hard Drive

Problem is that its partitioned, and has windows and ubuntu, so not only is the harddrive small, I only have about 20GB of harddrive space in ubuntu, and 40GB in windows. as for the screenshot, its attached, or can be viewed here: http://wiredtron.com/images/Screenshot.png

Im hoping to get a better computer soon, but looks like this one is going to have to hold me over, unless the fan fails as it is indicating it may be doing soon.

My pc is fairly new and its a dell inspiron 531:

Processor: AMD 64 *2 Dual Core
Video: ATI Radeon HD 2400 PRO
Ram: 2GB
OS: Vista SP 1 32 bit
Rating: 4.2

only paid 600 euros for it, it was a good buy compared to some outrageous prices some computer shops charge for a pc/laptop with a lower spec then mine. Who cares if it is a sony i still wouldn't pay it, brand names really do milk the system

I will say this about vista, ever since i had it some new games like Brothers in Arms-hells highway don't work, Its really annoying but i like the way vista works and looks so i wont be going back to Xp

@sizzlefire, My bro's laptop was partitioned and it was annoying so i rebooted the laptop and reinstalled Xp on one partition, work much better.

Well, I would remove the partition, but I cant stand windows some times, and ubuntu is so much faster, and it seems to put less stress on my computers fan.

That, and theres one more issue, I dont have the disk for windows, so I cant get rid of the partition

I think that your desktop is full of icons. You should move/delete some of them... it should improve your computer's performance, because CPU will not process anymore the icons that you move/delete.
