Default Reset Counter? and Remove line gap in the middle. - 06-01-2009, 05:19 PM

Does anyone know how to reset the counter? I am still testing my web site which I included the counter already, but I want to start it from zero again when I am ready to officially launch my site.

Also, there is a line gap in the middle of the counter, is there a way to get rid of it? I am new to HTML and I tried some code to remove the padding, but it still doesn't work.

My site is: http://www.unst421mmsp09.netii.net/

Thanks for your help!

I'm not so sure about resetting your hit counter, but you can probably remove that one, and definitely replace it with your own.

1. Maybe make your own counter and insert it.

2. Use a free website, http://www.pax.com/free-counters.html

I am looking for one that can provide more tracking details. I am trying the one from sitemeter and google analytics, may be those will work better.

Thanks!

Not sure how to disable and re-enable it? Do I just remove the script? I tried that but it doesn't work.
