Hello.I want to make a directory but I don't know how to install the script.
I downloaded the script from a site and I extract the file on my pc.Now please tell me how to upload/install that to have my own directory.

What´s the name of the script? That would be a big help, so here are a few general hints on how one would normally install a script like that:

• Download script
• setup database
• upload script to server
• run installation routine of script
• fill database and other details
• wait
• wait some more
• installation done

Well I don't know very much about the script.I saw a demo and I like soo much and I want that my website to use that script.

The script is Arfooo , if I am not wrong.

Did you check the /documentation directory? There is a full installation instruction inside.

Below the steps for installing Arfooo Directory


1) Make a backup of your database if you install Arfooo Directory on a database containing information already.
2) With the help of your FTP software to create a folder named for example "directory."
3) Upload all files except Arfooo Directory folder "documentation".
4) Editing .htaccess file to activate PHP 5 if necessary.
It is often enough to add one or two lines in the file .htaccess to activate PHP 5 from your host.
5) Once uploaded files, go to the following url: http://www.your-site.com/directory/install/
6) Follow the instructions and place if necessary CHOMOD of 646 or 777 on the files requested.
7) The tables are created and the account administrator.
8) Put a CHOMOD 444 or 644 on the file config/db.php

If, after installation, you are unable to log in to your account administrator
Or if you have a blank page with an error 403, 404, 500 ... Then:

You have your set. htaccess depending on the specifics of your server.

1) It may be that you had to remove the front # #RewriteBase /
2) You can also move your own .htaccess at the root of your accommodation.
Then it will settle Rewritebase / like that if you installed Arfooo Directory in the folder "directory":
Rewritebase /directory/
Or
Rewritebase /directory

Can anyone help me?I uploaded all files in the Files - Another files menager except folder documentation and when I write www.mysite.com/director/install/ I have Erorr 404

How can I install this script?
