Dear peterjg1972,

I love your web site and your beautiful work in mandalas and figurines. I first looked at your site a week or so ago but it was at the end of a busy day and I figured such a great site would be picked up by many 000webhost community members, given a good look over and report. Then today, after another busy day, I noticed your site again and saw it was about to roll off the front forum page, and still no one had yet made any comments. I thought you deserve a bump up, so more people can see your excellant presentation.

I viewed your site on Opera with windows Xp pro (sp2) using a screen resolution of 1600 X 950.

A couple items may be worth mentioning:

I think the vertical ad along the left margin is a bit of a destraction, maybe consider putting it at the very bottom and running it horizontal instead.

I wanted to vote for your work so I followed the "Vote for us @ Stained class top 100" and had a little trouble finding your listing and wasn't sure how to actually vote for you? I clicked the link if that's any help.

The "Pay Pal" banner intrudes, in my browser, on mandala #3.

The items on the "mosaics for sale" page, the enlarged photos would standout more if done in a higher resolution and made bigger. Ditto the "in-situ" page.

The Banksy vids are great and a fantastic additon to the site. BTW, what's become of Banksy... sounds like a real character.

On a more technical note, I think you have some problem with your <head> and <style> tags, although not real serious, you may want to take a look, if you haven't already, at the w3.org validator for your site, here's the link:

One thing I noticed, and I'm not sure if it's even a problem, is a lot of whitespace in this <meta> tag:

I also noticed something I've never seen before, but then again there's a lot I haven't seen, where you have what appears to be free standing or unattached text between two <meta> tags:

Lastly, you have 3 different <style> tags in the <head> section, I think you can probably consolodate them under one, just for simplification and clearer code.

Thanks a lot for the comprehensive review and feedback, much appreciated.

I agree that the ads detract slightly from the look of the site and will try a few different forms to try and get the balance right.

With my html, i know there are a few issues which come up when you test it out, however i use a very simple WYSIWYG page maker which doesnt actually allow you to work easily in html. So that is why i have never sorted them out.
Hopefully the issues do not cause any viewing problems or problems with the search engines?

With the voting link, you vote just by clicking through the button.
In fact i think you may have tried it a few tmes, as when i checked last night i was at the top of the chart! lol
