Honestly, no clue what the point of that website is. Sorry. The colors are a bit, uglyish, and the square you have no clue whats in it , makes no sense. Sideways navigation bar is dumb-ish, too.

Default Review Screen Art - 06-26-2009, 06:34 AM

Dear Joakim,

Fellow community member Vazzer does make a good point about first impressions. It also took me a while to figure out the site is promoting a business and what that business does. Looking at the "home" page should give the user an immediate idea of what the site is about, this is especially important in an intellectual business like "Screen Art." The "Company" page, it seems to me, would work better as a first or home page. Or just pre-selecting the navigation menu item "Company" so it is visible by default would help a lot.

Using some blue and red tones on boarders and margins might make the site more attractive to the eye. I like the lightness of your design, although you might want to consider a darker typeface.

The banner image, in addition to being impossible to read the text and what appears to be a dead Flash link(?), doesn't seem to make a connection with "Screen Art?"

The name "Screen Art" is too generic (generally it is used to describe computer images and graphics). Perhaps "Screen Art Subtitling Services," or something more specific to your line of business and to signify the services you provide.

I like the "Sideways navigation bar."

Needs examples of past "Screen Art" projects, video, images, audio, testimonials, etc. This would also liven up the site.

English grammer needs work.

I sent a test email.

There appears to be a "Security Issue" on the "Login Users" page - "Web Mail" option... Here's what Opera returned:
  • 1) The server's name "www.screenart.gr" does not match the certificate's name "eled.iphost.gr". Somebody may be trying to eavesdrop on you.
  • (2) The certificate for "eled.iphost.gr" is signed by the unknown Certificate Authority "eled.iphost.gr". It is not possible to verify that this is a valid certificate.
Not sure what's going on here, but it was enough to make me go away.

I tested with Opera on windows Xp (sp2).

Here's a link to your site's w3.org validator

Cheers.

Enjoy the ride
