This is what i have managed to do so far with , honestly speaking, zero coding knowledge. alot was trial and error with addons and widgets and editing to get what i wanted. now that i have the site almost as i would like it , i am at the stage now where i am going to upgrade to the paid version and make it a final edition but hosting my own guestbook etc.

Very good, you could change the http://guestscounter.com/ to a nice counter. You cam make the Chat Live page more better. It loads slowly.

@ khim .. yeah the chat live applet from chatango is not the fastest applet by all means i agree. but then for a 3rd party live chat for free, i couldnt really argue. as for the guest counter i will be looking at that over this week to see what i can find to make it look better.

do i understand right .. that with a domain name i can actually host my own chat on here or not.. i would be thinking of shunting a mibbit page or something on?

As for your question, unfortunately, no. Domain names simply just point to 000webhost. If you want to have a chatroom, you must buy a host, and host it there because chatrooms use up a lot of bandwidth and free 000webhost cannot handle it. It wouldn't be fair for the other 000webhost customers to have a slow site while you are hogging up all the bandwidth with your chat. This is why it isn't allowed. If you upgrade to paid hosting on 000webhost, you then are allowed.

yes that is what i meant sandstorm140 .. i will be going to the paid option at the end of the month from the free i have now. so with the paid option from 000webhost i can run a chat then yes?
