Default An old fashioned and therefore different site - 06-21-2008, 11:26 PM

I'm fairly new to web design. Eight years ago I won the Golden Web Award for a homepage produced in Flash5, but have been away from the internet until recently. The only html and javascript I knew was only enough to embed an object, and detect browsers.
I wanted to recover some lost abilities in maths and thought the best way to do this is by writing a web page, learning XHTML ect.
Setting myself about a year to write three pages of about 10,000 words, choosing background colours red green blue, in C++ it is blue green red, but anyhow, and with links easily accessible from every page.
I'm about ready to finish the second page, but I have to say so much in so few words that it's taking some time.
I welcome comments on my work so far.

What is the watermark in the background? I'm distracted by it, but I think that I am because I can't figure out what it is.

I'm not very good at drawing, so I apologise. The images in the backgroud are a tetrahedron inside a ball being spun out of a time-space worm, as in science fiction.

A dodecahedron on a background of alternative words and meanings for platonic, scruffied up abit. The words are Platonic and Symmetric.

If I could draw I would probably have done something different.
Thankyou.
Regards
Steve Davis
